January 8, 2021 (Ridgeland, MS) - The Orchard Continuing Care Retirement Community is pleased to welcome their new Director of Community Relations, Sandra Strain.  Mrs. Strain will be the liaison between the greater Jackson community and The Orchard.  She will educate and inform Mississippians about the exceptional care and amenities found at The Orchard, focusing on community outreach and special events.

Mrs. Strain was born and raised in Mississippi.  She is a graduate of Mississippi College with a degree in communications.  She has spent a career coaching and mentoring young people in the art of effective communication.  She is currently the Alderwoman at Large for Madison the City and is an active member in her community and church.  She has compassion and love for people and a unique ability to make people feel comfortable in any situation.

Mrs. Strain and her late husband, Warren, a former broadcast journalist and dedicated public servant, were married for 27 years.  She resides with her two children, ages 23 and 18, in Madison.
