Collision Six, DJ ChaChi and Dave Santia to perform in benefit concert at The Crofoot Ballroom

(June, 2015) West Bloomfield, MI – Metro Detroit, get ready for a classic “Dee-troit” Summer Party at the Third Annual “Summer Concert Bash,” 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6 at the Crofoot Ballroom, 1 South Saginaw, Pontiac, MI 48342.


The concert will benefit Alana’s Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, which was founded in 2009, to honor five-year-old Alana Yaksich, who passed away suddenly after becoming ill with the flu. The foundation seeks to educate and offer flu vaccine clinics, plus it offers grief and emotional support for all parents who have lost a child, either through illness, accident or other trauma. Additionally, the foundation offers financial grants and short-term financial assistance for unexpected bills, car repairs, groceries, etc.


“We have hosted fundraisers such as comedy events and silent auctions. This year, coinciding with the end of summer events, the foundation will host a concert, featuring entertainment by Detroit’s own Collision Six band; DJ Chachi - the official DJ for the Detroit Lions, and a special appearance by Dave Santia - speed painter, “ said Zachary Yaksich, president/Executive Director of the foundation and Alana’s father.  There will also be live, silent and raffle auctions items featuring autographed guitars from some of today’s biggest stars!

Alana’s Foundation is planning on breaking last years attendance and donation records.  “With any luck,” said Zack, “we’ll have in excess of 350 attendees and raise more than our goal of $20,000.”
