Fifth grade Gifted and Talented students from Manchester Elementary and William Winchester Elementary Schools will be junior curators for a day on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Historical Society of Carroll County.

The students will spend the morning learning the responsibilities of a curator from Dr. Gainor B. Davis, Executive Director of the Historical Society. In the afternoon, the students will select artifacts that will be on display and align with the curriculum.

Prior to the activity, the fifth graders surveyed the third grade students at their schools to find out their interests from the social studies units they are learning.
