FFA Members Visit Carroll Delegation in Annapolis

Officers from the Francis Scott Key, Manchester Valley, South Carroll, Westminster, and Winters Mill FFA chapters visited policy makers in Annapolis, Maryland on Thursday, February 23, 2017. The purpose of the visit was to commemorate FFA Week 2017, to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Smith-Hughes Act, and to advocate for continued support of school-based agricultural education in Carroll County.

 

FFA student leaders visited with Delegates Susan Krebs, Haven Shoemaker, and April Rose; Senator Justin Ready; and Carroll County Commissioner Steve Wantz at the Carroll County Delegation Open House. During the visits, student leaders thanked the officials for their support of education, agricultural education, and FFA leadership programs.
