June 14, 2021 - Interventional cardiology physician Brian L. Walton, MD, has joined Merit Health Medical Group in Flowood.

Dr. Walton focuses on the functions and disorders of the heart and circulatory system. He provides routine and preventive cardiac services, as well as helping to manage chronic conditions. Dr. Walton received his medical degree from the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Kansas where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Walton is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiology and vascular interpretation.
