Robert Pliska Named Notable Real Estate Executive by Crain's Detroit

Robert Pliska, President, Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates — Property Investment Counselors
Robert Pliska has been part of the Metro Detroit real estate scene for more than 30 years and has completed more than $1.5 billion in transactions as a broker and mortgage banker.
His notable projects over the years include closing on the $31.5 million, 440-acre Northville Psychiatric Hospital site, part of which is now a retail center, a University of Michigan hospital site and headquarters for Cooper-Standard.
More recently, he closed on the $19 million, 432,000 square foot Ottawa Towers office in Pontiac. Pliska was also integral to the development and/or renovation of $400 million of real estate that includes the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.
Pliska serves on the executive board of directors of the Counselors of Real Estate of the National Association of Realtors and on boards or committees for nonprofits such as Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce, Birmingham Bloomfield Symphony and Child Safe of Michigan.
