Java with Judson to benefit human service programs at Judson Center as it celebrates 95 years

Royal Oak, Mich. ---August 1, 2019--- Coffee, conversation and collaboration are at the center of “Java with Judson,” a corporate breakfast hosted by Judson Center , a nonprofit multi-county human service agency that provides autism programs, behavioral health services, child and family services including foster care and adoption in tandem with its affiliate, Child Safe Michigan, employment services for persons with disabilities, and primary care for all ages.  The event-which will take place on Thursday, August 22 and is part of the organization’s 95th anniversary activities-aims to bring attention to health and wellness matters encountered by Michigan families; proceeds will benefit Judson Center programs and services.

At the breakfast, U.S. Senator Gary Peters and U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow will lead a panel discussion on the health and wellbeing of Michigan children and families in the State of Michigan. The panel will be moderated by Detroit Free Press columnist Nancy Kaffer, with introductions by former Michigan State Senator Vincent Gregory.

Java with Judson will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Bloomfield Hills from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Tickets, which are $100 each or $1,000 for a table of ten, may be purchased online by August 15th at .  

Judson Center recently announced the relocation of its headquarters to Farmington Hills and is adding autism services at this location as well. This brings the total number of Judson Center locations to ten , all within Genesee, Macomb, Oakland, Wayne and Washtenaw counties, with additional home-based autism services provided in Livingston County.  In February 2019, Judson Center, in partnership with MedNetOne Health Solutions , opened the new Judson Center Family Health Clinic , an integrated primary care and behavioral health practice, in its Warren facility; in May, Judson Center expanded its longstanding Autism Connections program to Warren with a 4,000 square feet build-out of additional space designed specifically for serving young people with autism.
