POSITION SUMMARY 

The Dishwasher at Leena's maintains cleanliness around the restaurant by operating washing machines and washing specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china) 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately.  He/She will have opportunities to learn other functions in the kitchen and apply newly learned skills.  Ultimately, he/she will help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. 

POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas 

  • Load and unload dishwashing machines 

  • Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china) 

  • Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately 

  • Set up workstations before meal prep begins 

  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours 

  • Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and prompt management to place orders when necessary 

  • Remove garbage regularly 

  • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor 

Requirements:  
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Work experience as a Dishwasher or wait staff 

  • Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed 

  •          Time management skills 

  •          Attention to detail and sanitation rules 

  •       Availability to work in shifts, during weekends

          and evenings

    The Line Cook is responsible for setting up and stocking stations with all of the necessary supplies, preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) and cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. 

    It is essential that Leena's Line Cooks prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for the menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the chef and sous chef with their daily tasks.  

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

    Requirements:  

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

    • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook 

    • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures 

    • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks 

    • Familiar with industry’s best practices 

    • Culinary school diploma a plus

    Requirements:  

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef

    • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

    • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions

    • Familiar with industry’s best practices

    • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POSiTOUCH)

    Facilities Internship at The Stonebridge Amenity

    Responsible for maintenance, repair, administrative support, and other related duties with support The Pinehills Landowners Association (PHLOA) and the General District Association. This is a seasonal 32-40 hour per week position, Thursdays through Mondays, 6:30am start time. The description includes but is not limited to the following: 

     

    Facility Operations

     

    Complete daily checklist (pool, grounds, tennis, buildings, pond, etc)

    Manage general safety, tidiness, and cleanliness throughout amenity, trails, and connector roads

    Pool maintenance (monitor, empty and clean filter baskets, skim pools, scrub and vacuum pools, check and record chemical levels)

    Assure that locker rooms are safe, tidy, and stocked with supplies

    Oversee safety in mechanical rooms including the pool house and amenity structures

    Assist with GIS for catch basins, trail lights, etc. throughout The Pinehills.

    Administrative Support

     

    Design Review processing and site visits

    Communications regarding policy

    Customer Service

    Special Projects as assigned:  event support for special PHLOA events (outdoor concerts, private functions, etc)

    Reporting Relationship

    Reports to the Executive Director of The Pinehills Landowners Association, Inc. Maintains open communication with supervisor and the Manager of Buildings and Grounds and the Office Manager.

    The Internship position is a seasonal, hourly position.  All hours must be approved by the Executive Director in advance.
