General Job Summary:  This is a full-time position located on the Emmetsburg Campus College Farm. Primary responsibilities include oversight of and/or participation in activities on the farm including:  livestock, crops, equipment maintenance, budget, supplies, and supervision of farm staff. Includes some evening and weekend work. Possess or be willing to obtain Public Applicator License. Possess or be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Employee will be subject to drug and alcohol testing. Will be required to attend Safety Meetings and other work related training.

 Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

 Salary:  $60,225 for a 260-day contract

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum of three years of successful farm operation experience including crops and livestock is required. An Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in an Agriculture field preferred.
