General Job Summary:  Primary responsibility is to direct, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of student records, registrations, graduation, and records personnel. Consult with Deans, supervisors, faculty, and other responsible personnel to create registration schedules and procedures. Analyze statistical data on registration for use in formulating policies and future planning. Direct preparation and issuance of student transcripts. Prepare commencement list. Evaluate academic records of students applying for admission and graduation. Compile information such as class schedules and graduation requirements for publication in school bulletins and catalogs. Coordinate dissemination of information to students on registration, graduation, and other procedural requirements. “Customer Service” is required of this position.

 

 Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in a related area required, Master’s Degree preferred. Three years of experience in an educational institution as a registrar, assistant registrar or related area, a strong computer background and supervisory experience desired. Knowledge of state and federal requirements relating to student records and registration required.

 

 Salary:  $69,400 for a 260-day contract

 

Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and provide proof of insurance.
