We are seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our team as a Hybrid IT Services Technician / Sales Representative. This unique role combines responsibilities in tier 1 or tier 2 IT services with sales activities, providing an opportunity to utilize technical expertise while driving business growth.
This position will work primarily in sales, but will have requirements to cover some of the technical roles in our office.
Responsibilities:
IT Services Technician:
Provide tier 1 or tier 2 technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems efficiently.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure for clients.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including system updates and backups.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling IT services during client interactions.
Assist with onboarding new clients and conducting technology assessments.
Sales Representative:
Identify and cultivate potential client relationships, with a focus on selling Managed Services solutions.
Utilize your B2B sales experience to generate leads and drive sales opportunities.
Take a proactive approach to lead generation through methods such as cold calling, door-to-door visits, and networking events.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, tracking progress and outcomes.
Represent Golden Hills IT LLC at industry events and functions to promote our services and expand our network.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Provide regular reporting on sales activities and outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
IT Services Technician:
1-2 years of technical experience in IT support or a related field.
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with common operating systems and software applications.
Any combination of industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, or other leading industry certs preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Sales Representative:
Proven track record in B2B technology sales, with a strong preference for experience in selling Managed Services.
Independent and self-driven, with a hunter mentality and a proactive approach to lead generation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
