TxDOT is sponsoring PAVED, an event highlighting upcoming subcontracting opportunities for highway construction and maintenance projects in the Yoakum district. Participants will learn about the opportunities for working on major highway projects, and get to network with other contractors. A key element of the program is to provide those businesses with the resources needed to succeed in the marketplace.

PAVED (Projects adding Value by Expanding Diversity) was developed by TxDOT’s Civil Rights Division to increase the utilization of small, minority, and women owned businesses on major highway construction projects and make available “ready willing and able” DBE that can do the work.
