PERFORMERS, THE HATTERS.
The Hatters, Rick and
Jenifer Work, have been involved in music most of their lives. Jenifer
plays piano, electronic keyboard along with a little bass guitar, saxophone and
even a smidgen of harmonica. Rick plays mostly electric, acoustic and
bass guitar.
The Hatters was formed in
2014 and originally was only Rick and Jenifer. Drummer Ron Sanders was
added about a year ago. Sanders began playing drums at the age of 11, is a
native of Philadelphia and a 1982 graduate of Temple University with a degree
in radio, television and film. Ron’s “day job” is Executive Director of the
Wharton Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, which has been instrumental in
forming the Java Jam as a community activity since its conception 6 years ago.
Quoting Rick, “Our goal is
to offer something for everyone. We like a wide variety of music and our set
list reflects that. We have performed over 100 songs and like country,
rock, blues etc.”
Come on out and join
Wharton’s most unique dining/live music venue. Just bring a covered dish item
