POSTPONED Due to Weather - Taste of Parker County
The ninth annual Taste of Parker County has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Canyon West Golf Club.
The original event, hosted by the Weatherford College Foundation, was postponed Thursday morning due to the high chance of severe weather.
“We always hate to postpone an event, but we didn’t want to take any chances with the forecasted severe weather,” said Brent Baker, Executive Director of the WC Foundation. “We appreciate everyone’s great attitude about the change. I think this will allow us to have a great crowd May 25.”
Vendors from a wide variety of restaurants and caterers will offer sample-sized tastings of their favorite dishes. For an up-to-date list of vendors, go to www.wc.edu/taste

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by the WC Jazz Band and Ensemble as well as WC student Jessica Favata.
