1st Annual Friends Book Sale

Mark your calendars for a foodie fundraiser benefiting the Dripping Springs Community Library. Taking place on Friday, October 12 from 6:30 to 9 PM at Wilson AC & Appliance in Dripping Springs, there will be cooking demonstrations and tastings, author signing, complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres, and first dibs on a used cookbook sale. Here's a sneak peek at the chefs who will amaze us with their culinary skills and mouth-watering recipes.

Founder, Executive Chef, and Owner of The Austin Artisan, Michael Wards
Green Egg guru, Peter Stintzi, who loves to communicate with people via BBQ
Krista Vance, Chef, Health Coach, and Owner of Krista's Culinary Creations
Local chefs, Robert and Ling Ling Friedland, owners of Tai Tai and I, the best in Asian cuisine
New on the 290, Sarah Lindsey, local owner and operator of Winner Winner, scratch-made lunch & dinners
Local custom cake artist, Lori Hendricks, of Classic Cakes by Lori
Wine Curator, Jerry Gray will bring Global Artisanal Cheese and Fantastic Wine

The following day, Saturday, October 13, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the used book sale will continue. Everyone is invited to attend and support our local library!

Proceeds from the Friends of the Dripping Springs Community Library fundraisers benefit our library. The library's extensive summer reading programs, accommodations, additions to the book collections, and much more are just some of the items funded by your generous financial support of the Friends' events.
