Lonnie Atkinson, singer-songwriter, has played with Tanya Tucker, David Allan Coe, Marcia Ball and many others. It’s been said that he’s one of the best pickers out there. He co-wrote “Red and Rio Grande”, which was on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts in 1994. Lonnie was inducted into the Texas Western Swing Hall of Fame in 2014. Both Lonnie and Larry currently play with Al Dressen’s Super Swing Revue Band.

Larry Eisenberg, bassist and pianist, is a forty year veteran of the Austin music scene. As a house musician at Antone's in the early 1980’s, he had the privilege of playing with many of the great Chicago bluesmen. A diverse musician, Larry has played with artists ranging from Jimmie Dale Gilmore to the Austin Klezmorim. His current schedule includes performances with The Recuperators and the Rosie Flores Blue Moon Jazz Quartet among others.

This is a four person scramble golf tournament.  There will be hole in one prizes from cash to a golf cart.  Breakfast and lunch will be served during the tournament.  Long drive and closet to the pin awards as well.  A raffle will be at the end of the tournament during the prize and placing awards.  This is our 5th year and we look forward to seeing you on the course.   Sign your team up before it is too late, last years tournament sold out.

Mission:

Our mission is to raise awareness and fund children's charities (501(c)3 organizations) in the Texas Hill Country area.  Annually our events include the Gala, Music Concert Series, BBQ Cook-Off, Car and Motorcycle Show, and a golf tournament (Drives 4 Drippin).  Get involved and experience great times and meet awesome people at our events.  But most of all, being involved means assisting those children around us that need to be inspired and loved.

Our annual back to school storytime is The Kissing Hand!  We’ll read this so sweet book and then create our own kissing handprint tile.  Please call to register for this very popular event! (512) 852-9900.

Storytime Art, or StArt! is a great opportunity for your young child to experience art! Storytimes are geared to the 3 – 5 year old preschooler, but some projects could easily translate into a Mommy and Me project for those a little younger. And, of course, anyone older is welcome, as well! Storytimes always include at least one book and a related art project, but often include surprises like songs, poems, and coloring pages.

Nearly 700 shelters across the country are teaming up with NBC Owned Television Stations and Telemundo for Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption drive on Saturday, August 19 that helps find loving homes for animals in need. Over 50,000 pets found their forever homes in 2016.
