Harmony Place is a respite program for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.

We provide a safe, loving, respectful, and fun place for loved ones while their caregivers have the opportunity to rest, run errands, and have time to themselves.

Lunch is provided as well as fun activities, laughter, and loving care. There is no cost to participants. 

Harmony Place is held every Thursday from 9:30-1:30.

Fridays at 10:45 and Saturdays at 10:45 during Summer

Storytime Art, or StArt! is a great opportunity for your young child to experience art! Storytimes are geared to the 3 – 5 year old preschooler, but some projects could easily translate into a Mommy and Me project for those a little younger. And, of course, anyone older is welcome, as well! Storytimes always include at least one book and a related art project, but often include surprises like songs, poems, and coloring pages.

Cost is $12 per child, or buy a punch-card and get 6 classes for $60!

June 17 Ice Cream

I scream! You scream! We all scream for ice-cream!  We’ll read super cute books about this tasty summer treat, and then paint our own special bowls to use all summer long!

Tie-Dye Workshops

Select Saturdays 4 pm 

The Art Garage hosts tie-dye workshops each month!  Instructors will be there to help with new techniques taught each time.  The studio is open at this time for all other art activities, too.  So, come on Tie-dye and make an afternoon of art!

Cost: $18 per shirt, includes all materials and instructions. 

*Please call ahead to register. We have to prepare your shirt in a presoak solution prior to your arrival.

June 17 at 4pm: Summer Spirals!

Join us for the classic Keep Austin Weird design!  We’ll teach the spiral technique, you choose your colors, and create your own wearable, fantastic art!

Monthly meeting of the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Investors in the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce are welcome to attend. Investor participation is limited to a comment period at the beginning of the meeting. Board members will listen to comments made by investors but will not respond during the meeting. Uncork your inner creativity with our monthly workshops.  Come join in community for an afternoon for sipping, snacking, and festivity. Our DIY course will lead you through a craft to take home (or give to a loved one!), and a chance to sip on the latest FALL CREEK wine at our beautiful estate. Get lost in jewel toned beads as we make Wine Cork Bracelets this June. Your ticket will include your craft, a glass of FCV wine, and small nibbles to fuel you as you create! Additional cheese plates and charcuterie boards will be available for purchase.

SV Cultural Hub hosts a Day of Dinners.

We know we CAN have enough for all of us when we come together. Our story will be one of community and courage. And that’s the story we’re going to tell with Day of Dinners. Our vision is that on June 25th, thousands of people across the country will open up their homes, places of worship and shared spaces as we dine together in the spirit of community.

Many of us have been raised to leave politics and religion at the door when we sit down with family for dinner, but this is a different kind of family. On Day of Dinners, we come together knowing we’re not perfect, not always on the same page, but knowing that we want to build something greater with our communities. We will come together to give freely of ourselves and to fight back against the narrative that silos us into us vs. them. We’re coming together to share and build -- in order to truly resist.
