Storytime Art, or StArt! is a great opportunity for your young child to experience art! Storytimes are geared to the 3 – 5 year old preschooler, but some projects could easily translate into a Mommy and Me project for those a little younger. And, of course, anyone older is welcome, as well! Storytimes always include at least one book and a related art project, but often include surprises like songs, poems, and coloring pages.

Cost is $12 per child, or buy a punch-card and get 6 classes for $60!

I mustache you a question…do you love mustaches?!  We’ll make a silly moosetache craft, read the adorable book Moosetache, and then paint our own ceramic mustaches

Join us for our 2^nd Annual Celebrating Fatherhood Conference taking place on May 27, 2017 from 9am to 3pm.  It will be held at the San Marcos Activity Center.  This is an event for fathers and father figures to attend to be celebrated, motivated, equipped, and empowered.  Moms and children are welcomed to join dads at 11am to attend a session for moms and/or a family workshop.  Afterwards we will have awards and serve lunch. In the afternoon from 1-3pm, we will have a Family Event of fun and games.

Harmony Place is a respite program for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias.

We provide a safe, loving, respectful, and fun place for loved ones while their caregivers have the opportunity to rest, run errands, and have time to themselves.

Lunch is provided as well as fun activities, laughter, and loving care. There is no cost to participants. 

Harmony Place is held every Thursday from 9:30-1:30. 

FREE wine tastings & hor'dourves while you puruse the HUGE silent auction. Then starting at 7pm enjoy the fun Beatles cover band, The Eggmen, $10 advance, $15 at the door, $200 VIP tables for 8. We will also have yummy food and local drinks available.

All are invited to eat some of the best bbq around, (prepared by the Dripping Springs Cook Off Club) while supporting your firefighters.

On June 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., neighbors and friends will gather to enjoy live music, great food, a silent auction and fun for the whole family. Always a hit with the kids, there will be a special guest appearance by an AirEvac helicopter (Medical Air Ambulance Service). Families can also see the fire engines up close and tour the facilities.

The event will take place at the Henly VFD Station 3 at 7520 Creek Road. BBQ plates are $12 and includes brisket, sausage and all the trimmings. Proceeds from this event helps pay for training for Henly volunteers including tuition for EMT school and fire and rescue certifications. The City of Dripping Springs is a proud co-sponsor of this annual fundraiser.

19TH ANNUAL DRIFTWOOD CHIGGERFEST IS A FUNDRAISING BENEFIT FOR THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY - RELAY FOR LIFE

In a scenic setting along Onion Creek, our family-friendly event is filled with good times, great music, and you are sure to leave with new friends. For a gate entry-fee donation of only $10.00 per person, we will have live music from talented musical artists (both acoustic and full band), playing anything from country to rock and a little bit of everything in between; beginning at 1:00 pm.

We will also have a washer tournament that starts at 2:00pm, with registration beginning at 10:00 am.   ($20 per team)

Delicious BBQ brisket, hamburgers, hotdogs, snacks, water and soft drinks are for sale; or you are welcome to bring your own food.   All other beverages are BYOB.  

Pack up your canopy, your chairs, and your cooler and come join the fun!

The event is rain or shine. 

All proceeds raised benefit The American Cancer Society.

The City of Dripping Springs in partnership with the Dr. Pound Historical Farmstead presents Fitness Blast to the Past (A Healthy Parks, Healthy People Event) at the Pound House, Saturday, June 10 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This event features all kind of activities to get you moving like a sack race, grinding corn, using a washboard and more. Put on period clothes and climb on the chuck wagon for a fun photo op. Admission is FREE and all ages are welcome!
