Join us for an entertaining and informative hour-long session where past graduates and steering committee members will share their leadership experience and answer your questions about the program.  Our leadership skills facilitator/program director will be on-hand to provide information on how the program provides you with the tools needed to advance your professional and personal leadership capabilities.

This is a complimentary event and limited to the first 15 who register.  We are asking that only serious candidates register to attend.  Should we have an overwhelming response to this event, we will schedule additional sessions.

Allen & Fairview, Texas sit right outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and both are multi-generational communities with an ever-increasing senior population.  This increase necessitates and welcomes active living communities, retiree apartment complexes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.  In order to provide information and support to this demographic, the Senior Services Alliance is made up of member businesses that offer support services, senior discounts, transportation and living accommodations.  The purpose is to showcase and educate services and goods available to all seniors and their families within our communities in hopes of making their lives easier to navigate and find trustworthy resources when needed.

MORE:                 INN Bloom, presented by Baylor Scott & White Health began in 2017 as a new fundraising opportunity to unite Samaritan Inn supporters and create an experience that witnesses the blooming of spring, the joy of new beginnings and the empowerment of women.  Mrs. Laura Bush will provide a unique perspective as a North Texas resident and advocate for women’s rights.  INN Bloom will feature a champagne welcome, luxury raffle and an opportunity for philanthropy.  
WHY:                   The Samaritan Inn is North Texas’ most comprehensive homeless program dedicated to maintaining the family unit and restores independence through education, counseling, community collaboration and individualized case management.  Established in 1984, Samaritan Inn today continues to provide all of its services free of charge and is fully funded by corporate giving, individual donors and is a member of the United Way.  More than 550 clients are served annually of which 54% are women and children.
