Allen & Fairview, Texas sit right outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and both are multi-generational communities with an ever-increasing senior population. This increase necessitates and welcomes active living communities, retiree apartment complexes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. In order to provide information and support to this demographic, the Senior Services Coalition is made up of member businesses that offer support services, senior discounts, transportation and living accommodations. The purpose is to showcase and educate services and goods available to all seniors and their families within our communities in hopes of making their lives easier to navigate and find trustworthy resources when needed.

FILL THE BUS with School Supplies! Each August, Allen Community Outreach partners with donors in the community to provide much needed new school supplies and backpacks to local children in need. Last year, 693 students benefited from this program! Drop donations on August 1, 2017 at the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce office!

Donations Needed:

Back packs 4X6 index cards, Spiral notebooks, Manila paper Notebook paper, Map pencils,  Folders with brads and pockets,  Black/blue ink pens, 1” 3-ring binders,  Washable markers, Erasers, Dry erase markers, Glue sticks, Pencil box, Highlighters, Construction paper, #2 Pencils, Scissors, Crayons, Watercolors, Facial tissue, and/or Gift Cards.

Monthly events featuring educational and networking opportunities for the emerging group of young professionals under forty within our area. Allen Fairview YP meets monthly at Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Que for breakfast. This groups is open to members and non-members.Young Professional's Breakfast hosted by Rudy's BBQ! 

$15 members/$20 non-members.

Please register online and pay in advance as we have to provide an accurate count prior to the breakfast.
