Live@5 Business to Business after Hours Networking Event Fee $250.00
After Hours events are a great way to promote your business! Chamber members are invited to your location for casual networking and snacks. The host company will have an opportunity to talk about their business and introduce their staff. The host may also offer a tour of their facility to the attendees. The sponsoring business is responsible for providing snacks, drinks*, and a minimum of two (2) door prizes for the event.  Prior to the event sponsoring businesses are listed on the Chamber website, in the weekly e-newsletter, and invitations are distributed at all Chamber events. Biz Happy Hours are scheduled for the 4th Thursday of each month.             *Drinks may include beer & wine - sponsor’s choice

Texas Central is developing a new high-speed passenger rail system that will connect Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston using a proven, world-class technology that will provide a travel time of less than 90 minutes.HIGH-SPEED RAIL CORRIDOR

Nearly 50,000 Texans, sometimes called “super-commuters,” travel back and forth between Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth more than once a week. Many others make the trip very regularly. The approximately 240-mile high-speed rail line will offer a total travel time of less than 90 minutes, with convenient departures every 30 minutes during peak periods each day, and every hour during off-peak periods – with 6 hours reserved each night for system maintenance and inspection.

Texas Central respects and values property rights and Texas landowners. It has identified and analyzed potential routes that follow alongside existing rights of way as much as possible. Texas Central closely examined a number of such rights of way, including interstates, freight rail corridors and power and utility corridors, all with the goal of minimizing impacts on private property.

Dr. Baker is the owner and CEO of KidsCare Therapy, a successful pediatric home healthcare agency that employs over 300 people and assists more than 2000 pediatric patients throughout the state of Texas. Most recently Cortney has opened Baker Management Group, a speaking, consulting, and executive leadership coaching business in which she can pursue her dream of helping others grow and develop to their full leadership potential.
