Newcomer Friends of Greater Plano- Monthly Program Meeting
Program: “Higher, Swifter, Stronger.” Neal Jeffrey, former All-American quarterback at Baylor University and quarterback for the San Diego Chargers, learned the meaning of overcoming obstacles early in life. A stutterer since childhood, Neal had to learn to, “get through what he couldn’t get over,” to achieve his lifelong dreams. Today, he is one of the most sought after and engaging motivational speakers in America. He realized that as a stutterer, he could encourage and inspire others because we all struggle with something. As the quarterback that led the Baylor Bears to their first Southwest Conference Championship in 50 years, Neal brings a level of enthusiasm and passion to every presentation that is rarely seen anywhere. He is the author of a new book, If I Can, Y-Y-You Can!: Giving All You’ve Got to Become All You Can Be, and a long term associate pastor of the Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
