Multi-platinum global superstar, Bret Michaels, turned his passion for music into a multi-faceted brand that encompasses touring, Reality TV, legendary songs, and product endorsements, all supported and followed by three generations of loyal fans.

As the front man of the rock band, Poison, Michaels helped define the rock-n-roll scene on the Sunset Strip. He sang hits including “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Talk Dirty to Me,” and “Look What the Cat Dragged In.” Equally successful, Bret’s solo career has charted its own course with multiple solo albums, with Custom Built reaching #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock list. He launched a new career in reality television, starring in Rock of Love on VH1 and The Celebrity Apprentice.

Michaels has had a profound influence on the music industry, both with Poison and currently as a solo artist. His career has spanned a quarter-century and his legendary hits have led to more than 40 million records being sold worldwide.

 The ETSU Jazz Ensemble, ETSU Jazz Collective and Special Guests perform an evening of classic big band dance music from the '30's and '40s.  Featuring songs from Count Basie, Benny Goodman, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Sarah Vaughan, Duke Ellington and more.  This special concert promises to be a nostalgic night of great music.

The annual YWCA Turkey Trot 5k will be held on November 17th beginning at 8 AM. The Turkey Trot is an event hosted by the YWCA Women's Fitness Center that encourages women to achieve their fitness goals.

It is the longest running women's 5K in the Tri-Cities that features joggers and walkers of all skill levels. Every year, the YW cheers on first-time participants and veteran runners to achieve a new personal best. The race route is certified by USA Track and Field.

All proceeds from the race benefit the health and wellness programs of the YWCA's Women's Fitness Center.

The Beach Boys are led by Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, who along with Jeffrey Foskett, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher, and Scott Totten continue the legacy of the iconic American band. The Beach Boys have continued to create and perform with the same bold imagination and style that marked their explosive debut over 50 years ago.
