Laura Story Christmas at the Niswonger Performing Arts

Laura Story Christmas at the Niswonger Performing Arts
It’s one thing to write compelling, heart-stirring, emotionally rich songs of worship, praise and honor to Christ. It’s another thing entirely to bare your soul, share your vulnerabilities and risk criticism and career success by challenging the mold and daring to say that God is not necessarily a God of happy endings. Instead, He is the God of every story. This is what Laura Story is learning day by day.

The intersection of a new opportunity and a tragedy is also what originally spawned Laura Story’s runaway hit “Blessings,” that took home a Grammy®, a Billboard Music Award and three Dove Awards. Laura’s new album God of Every Story is more than just another album or great selection of songs. It’s more than eloquent words to an infinite, omnipotent, omnipresent God. It’s more than another happy ending and more than just another story. It’s every story.

Join Grammy® Award-winning artist Laura Story this Christmas season as she performs beloved holiday classics along with brand new original Christmas songs sure to become favorites for your holiday season!

Country Cool Comedy Tour at Niswonger Performing Arts Center

Country Cool Comedy Tour at Niswonger Performing Arts Center
Country Cool is a straight shootin’ comedy show that laughs at what we’re all dealin’ with ... the “this can’t really be happening” moments in life, that make us all feel like we’re losing our minds one traffic jam at a time. Trish Suhr, Karen Mills and Leanne Morgan all have southern roots but are well traveled, diverse, sharp and savvy. Their no-nonsense approach “tells it like it is,” but of course, with charm and style. It’s not redneck, it’s not white trash, these girls are country cool! It’s comedy for the masses, because let’s face it, everybody’s got a little country in ‘em!

These three women have been friends for over a decade and have stood in it, walked through it, and come out on the other side laughing. Their take on marriage, kids and aging will keep you in stitches and the laughs don’t stop there. This comedy show runs the gamut from topics ranging from sports to mastering technology to their undying support for the troops which gives them a universal appeal that both men and women can relate to.
