Workforce Solutions offering classes to learn signing for beginners. Classes held Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:30. Max of 20 students. Cost $80 for the 8 week program. Registration deadline: 8-11.

Citizens are invited to put on their dancing shoes and join Senior Services the first and third Friday of each month to dance the night away to live music. Memorial Park Community Center, 510 Bert St., hosts Friday Night Dances from 7-10 p.m. Next up is Jerry Pierce and the Nightlife Band will perform on Aug. 18.

Cost is $5 with a Silver Sneakers® discount for eligible participants. Please pre-register and pay in person at the MPCC Senior Services desk.

 This event is a great way to introduce your child to the world of Triathlons!  Youth will ride, swim, and bike during the event.  Early registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt and medal. His current single “A Girl Like You,” from his forthcoming album, is currently climbing the country radio charts.
