Annie Moses Band

Annie Moses Band

Warner Classics recording artist, the Annie Moses Band has been inspiring and entertaining audiences for over a decade, bringing their distinctive style of music across the U.S. and around the world. A captivating blend of folk and classical, the Annie Moses Band is a talented ensemble of songwriters, singers, musicians, and siblings combining technical skill with exhilarating showmanship.

The Art of the Love Song, the Annie Moses Band’s PBS special, is old-school elegance in the mold of Grace Kelly and Cary Grant. The band keeps a classical aesthetic in these archetypal love songs, while flavoring them with retro strings and gypsy-jazz violin. Nat King Cole’s velvet stringwork serves as a big inspiration as well. The ultra-creative members of the band pluck repertoire from the Great American Songbook of the 40’s and 50’s, then borrow from such soulful folk/rock songsmiths of the 60’s and 70’s as Don McLean, Paul Williams and John Lennon. The Art of the Love Song is a tribute to the most treasured love songs of the last century. Be swept off your feet with the romance of forever!

Rhonda Vincent and The Rage

Rhonda Vincent and The Rage
Written words can only provide but a glimpse of the artist known as The Queen of Bluegrass, as deemed by the Wall Street Journal. But it’s only when you see this artist, that you can feel the energy and experience the excitement of her music, to truly know why she and her amazing band are the “Most Award Winning Band in Bluegrass Music History, with over 100 awards!” Among their honors are Song of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and an unrivaled seven consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year awards from the International Bluegrass Music Association.

The voice of Rhonda Vincent is the centerpiece, surrounded by the rhythms of each instrument; featuring the individual styles of the world class musicians that collectively make up The Rage. Their talent is unmatched. Each and every member can sing every part, and play every instrument. Their depth of skill sets the stage for the highest level of professionalism in every performance.

Breaking a stereotypical image, Rhonda Vincent takes the stage in designer gowns and stiletto heels with a take-charge manner, far from the type set that Hollywood has portrayed as the image of acoustic music. 1964

1964

Since the early eighties, “1964”...The Tribute has been thrilling audiences around the globe by taking them on a journey through a quintessential moment in music history that will live forever.

Over twenty years of researching and performing have made “1964” masters of their craft. They are hailed by critics and fans alike as THE most authentic and endearing Beatles tribute...which has earned them the distinction from Rolling Stone magazine as the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth.”

“1964” recreates an early 60’s live Beatles concert with period instruments, clothing, hairstyles, and onstage banter with an accuracy that is unmatched.

“1964” is comprised of Mark Benson as John Lennon, Mac Ruffing as Paul McCartney, Tom Work as George Harrison, and Bobby Potter as Ringo Starr. Mark says, “‘1964’ shows the audience what it was like to attend a Beatles concert in the early sixties and generates the same feeling of happiness that is still generated by the music of The Beatles. We get so much of this positive energy back from our audiences, it reassures us that for now, we are where we are supposed to be.”

Russian National Ballet: Swan Lake

Russian National Ballet: Swan Lake

This esteemed Russian company brings to the stage one of the most magical and well-known works from the classical ballet repertoire. This stunning fantasy ballet is inspired by the German legend of Odette, a beautiful princess turned into a swan at the hand of an evil sorcerer. With majestic choreography, an unforgettable score and exquisite costumes and sets, it is easy to see why Swan Lake continues to earn the adoration of classical ballet enthusiasts and attract newcomers. The company was founded in 1994 by Elena Radchenko, legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, and is dedicated to preserving the grand ballet traditions while nurturing young dancers throughout Russia.

The Russian National Ballet Theatre was founded in Moscow during the transitional period of Perestroika in the late 1980’s. During this time many of the great dancers and choreographers of the Soviet Union’s ballet institutions were exercising their new-found creative freedom by starting new, vibrant companies dedicated not only to the timeless tradition of classical Russian Ballet, but to invigorate this tradition as the Russians began to accept new developments in the dance from around the world.

Today, the Russian National Ballet Theatre is its own institution, with over 50 dancers of singular instruction and vast experience, many of whom have been with the company since its inception.
