Emerge Women's Professional Development WEBINAR

YWCA’s Emerge Women’s Series second webinar of the year

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (July 18, 2016) – Join YWCA Bristol as they partner with bestselling author, Emily Bennington on their second Emerge webinar of the year!

Emerge is a professional series for women striving to be great leaders in today's organizations. Through expert-led presentations, networking, and interactive training, Emerge builds upon the strengths and talents women already possess. The new addition of webinars have enabled women from all over the nation to participate in the Emerge Series.

Join them on Wednesday August 10, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM EDT for the live webinar: The Mindset of Success: How the Most Remarkable Leaders Think

About the webinar: As our world gets faster and our challenges get more complex, leaders are needed who can stay calm and anchored regardless of what's going on around them. In this presentation, bestselling career author and mindful leadership coach, Emily Bennington will show you how to "pull yourself together" through a process designed to help you respond to your circumstances from an empowered place, rather than simply reacting to the chaos that surrounds us all. Participants in this webinar will leave with the key takeaways: Enhanced ability to make better on-the-spot decisions and navigate work challenges with calm confidence; Top reasons women who select their boss on gender chose men three-to-one; A proven tool used by psychologists for focusing on data-based responses versus emotion-driven reactions.

About the speaker: Emily Bennington is a mindful leadership coach and the founder of Awake Exec: Mindful Wisdom at Work. Her work deep dives into “the space” between stimulus and response where she challenges leaders to choose intentional, values-centers action. Emily has led training programs on secular mindfulness and composure for numerous Fortune 500 companies and has been featured in press ranging from CNN, ABC, and Fox, to the Wall Street Journal, Glamour, Marie Claire, and Cosmopolitan. Her blog is read by thousands of professionals seeking a holistic, yet practical approach to leadership in the world and in 2013 Forbes listed it as one of the “100 Best Websites for Women.” Also named one of Monster.com’s “11 Career Experts to Follow”, Emily is the author of two books – Effective Immediately: How To Fit In, Stand Out, and Move Up at Your First Real Job and Who Says It’s a Man’s World: The Girls’ Guide to Corporate Domination, that was featured as a “Book of the Month” by the Washington Post. Her third book, Miracles at Work: Turning Inner Guidance into Outer Influence, will be published in February of 2017. Emily is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is currently training to receive coaching certification from the International Coach Academy. She can be found online at EmilyBennington.com.

Registration for this webinar is $35 per person. Reserve your seat by registering today!
