Women in Business Scholarship Luncheon

Women in Business Scholarship Luncheon

Join us at the Women in Business Committee's Scholarship Luncheon. Sponsored by Metro Bank, the luncheon will feature Anne Deeter Gallaher, co-author of the book Women in High Gear, as the speaker/presenter. Becky Briody of Chef on the Go will provide catering. Highlights of the luncheon also include the announcement of the 2015 Women in Business Non-Traditional Student Scholarship winner(s).

The event will begin with registration, networking, and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the featured presentation from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

Cost for the luncheon is $25 for Chamber members with payment in advance or at the door, $30 for Chamber members without payment in advance or at the door, and $35 for non-members.

Energy Forum: From Development Through Usage

Registration will begin at 11:45 a.m. and the event will run from noon through 1:15 p.m.

The Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, working with Williams, the Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, and UGI, is pleased to present this special event luncheon to discuss natural gas pipeline infrastructure and the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline project.

The seminar will feature the following speakers:

George Stark from the Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation will present on Cabot's role in energy development, the exploration process, and getting gas to the market.

Cindy Ivey from Williams will be present to discuss the need for pipeline infrastructure as well as the jobs and economic benefits that it provides. Ivey will also discuss how pipeline infrastructure changes the energy landscape in the state and the region. Her talking points will also touch upon the Atlantic Sunrise project and best practices.

Steve Cook from UGI will discuss the company's focus on delivering natural gas to the end user and evolving/enhancing how that happens.

Doug Henry of Henry Molded Products will present to attendees from an end user perspective, discussing how cheaper, cleaner burning natural gas has changed/altered/enhanced their business model.
