The Women’s Humane Society Animal Hospital has achieved the highest level of veterinary excellence following a thorough evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). The Women’s Humane Society earned AAHA accreditation after a rigorous review of the hospital’s practice protocols, medical equipment, facility and client services.
The Women’s Humane Society is now among just 12% of veterinary hospitals and one in nineteen humane societies/SPCA’s across the U.S. and Canada to hold this accreditation.
To celebrate this achievement, the Women’s Humane Society is hosting an Open House for the community on the evening of Thursday, February 23. The public is invited to drop in any time between 5:30-7:30pm to meet the veterinary staff and tour the hospital and adoption center. The event will include refreshments, children’s activities, and educational demonstrations.
The event is free and open to the public, but advance
registration is encouraged. Those who register online will receive a
complimentary goodie bag.
The Women's Humane Society was founded in 1869 as the First
Animal Shelter and Adoptions Program in America.
