Permitless/Concealed Carry Course.
August 3, 2019. Class session will start 8:00 am and last about 5 hours... at Lawton’s very own Historical Vaska Theater, 1902 NW Ferris, Lawton, OK 73507
Classroom fee: $45/pp Range session: $15/pp Both: $60/pp
Permitless Carry (aka. Constitutional Carry) was signed into law by Governor Kevin Stitt and will be effective on November 1, 2019.
Topics to be discussed will include:
• The Oklahoma Self Defense Act
• The laws relating to self-defense
• “Imminent danger”
• “Deadly force”
• Where you can and cannot carry
• Circumstances when you may carry or transport a firearm
• Prohibited acts using a firearm
• The maximum legal caliber firearm
This is the classroom portion of the Oklahoma SDA Course. The shooting section of the course, for those friends interested in progressing through the process to obtain their Concealed Carry license, will be available immediately following this course at the Gemini Guns range. (Range Maps will be available to those interested)
You will need to bring the following to the range:
• Handgun in a case
• 50 rounds of ammo (100 is better, just in case)
• Eye and Ear protection
