Instruments Transformed!

17 pieces of art have been transformed by nine local artists and 6 international artists known across the country and world. The instruments will be auctioned on-line as a fundraiser for the Lawton Philharmonic. Artworks are on display at the Leslie Powell Gallery. The auction will end at 7:30 pm on October 6 when they have their Festive Finale. The doors will open at 6:30.

If you would like to view the artworks the Leslie Powell Gallery is open from Monday - Friday noon - 4 p.m.

LADIES NIGHT OUT

Ladies! Mark your calendars for what is sure to be an exciting evening of food, fun and fashion! It’s our 14^th annual Ladies Night Out, Thursday, October 5th at the Hilton Garden Inn & Convention Center, from 5 til 9pm. Dillard’s will be showcasing their new fall line with a fashion show, lots of door prizes throughout the evening and you will WANT to stay to the end for our fabulous entertainer, Michael Hix and the Holla, sponsored by Apache Casino Hotel.

The first 100 ladies through the door will receive a special “swag bag”. Tickets are $6 in advance, $8 at the door and can be purchased at our downtown offices (626 SW D Avenue) Monday through Friday! The 14^th Annual Ladies Night Out is brought to you in part by: Lawton Gold Exchange and EZ Go Foods.

RE/MAX Professionals Presents Rally for Miracles

RE/MAX Professionals will be hosting this year’s first annual Rally for Miracles; a car show and showcase of the LPS Marching bands to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.

Gates will open at 10:30am, and the marching band showcase will take place at 11am. All three LPS high school marching bands will be entertaining the crowd with their halftime show. Throughout the event there will be a car show in the parking lot. Spectators are welcome to walk around and view the cars.

As a Miracle Office, RE/MAX Professionals will be taking donations for the Children’s Miracle Network to help meet this year’s state goal of $3.2 million. All funds raised stay in the state of Oklahoma with the goal to keep families and patient close to home and in state for treatment. Funds raised also help train future pediatricians and finance research in pediatric medicine. In 2016, 233,943 patients were seen. 7,897 of those patients were from Comanche County.

In attendance will be Special Guest Samantha, the 2017 CMN Hospitals Oklahoma City Champion Child of the Year.
