Human Trafficking Seminar
Join us as we learn about one of America's deadliest threats to our children and adults alike. Human Trafficking. Michael Snowden of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Human Trafficking Division and Joni Middleton, Assemblies of God missionary with Project Rescue will help us spot trafficking victims & the impact it has on our nation, give us insight as to what we can do, & how we can get involved. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions during our Q & A luncheon. The luncheon with our guest speakers has limited seating so please RSVP soon!

GILES SYMPOSIUM: DERRECK KAYONGO
Ugandan entrepreneur and human rights innovator Derreck Kayongo will be the keynote speaker for the 11th annual Ray, Mary & Nita Giles Symposium for Citizenship and Public Service.
The 2018 symposium will be held on Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Te Ata Memorial Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
An expert in environmental sustainability and global health, Kayongo founded the Global Soap Project as an international aid organization that collects discarded soap from hotels, reprocesses and distributes it to vulnerable populations. Known for his optimistic energy, he was named a CNN Hero in 2011. Kayongo was chosen to be the new CEO for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in downtown Atlanta in 2015. Born in Uganda in 1970, Kayongo later immigrated to the United States and graduated from the prestigious Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency
The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma’s theatre arts program will present the hilarious postmodern murder mystery ““Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” on November 9 and 10 at 7:30pm in the Davis Hall Little Theater.
Based on Douglas Adams’ 1987 novel, “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” is a wild romp that pulls from a huge range of dramatic genres. The work will allow a large ensemble of actors to showcase their diverse talents.
