| Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro, in a partnership with the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Mid-Hudson Small Business Development Center and the Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation, present the second in a series of events titled "Doing Business with Government" on Wednesday, August 15 immediately following the monthly Contact Breakfast. The event is complimentary for Chamber members and non-members, and will begin at 9 a.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel and Conference Center.
Chamber President and CEO Charlie North will speak, as well as Dutchess County Economic Development Corp., President and CEO Catherine Maloney. Vanessa Primus, from the New York State Small Business Development Center, and representatives from New York State.

| The Chamber Foundation announces the "NEW" Youth Leadership program -Parents and Students are encourage to attend this FREE informational session.
Youth Leadership is an innovative, leadership development program designed to develop the academic, social and life skills of area youth.
High school students will: experience interactive, online learning. Attend challenging sessions with leaders of local organizations and businesses. Participate in field trips and an overnight tream building retreat. Volunteer with local community service organizations and much much more.... By the end of the program, participants will achieve more self confidence and develop skills and attitudes needed for success in college and life. The program also encourages the development of organizational and problem solving skills.
Through a unique partnership with Marist College Emerging Leaders Program and instructors of Army ROTC at Marist College, the program is open to any student from any school or district within Dutchess County. | |
