The Sussex County Trails Partnership will be hosting a Trail Clean Up on Friday, April 19 on the Sussex Branch Trail.
Two locations are available for litter clean-up:
• From Smith Street in Andover heading northeast to Rt 206 by forest fire
• Whitehall Hill Rd in both directions
Groups and individuals will meet at the Smith Street trailhead at 8:30 a.m., and then split up to work on both locations. Company teams welcome!
Please bring any tools and supplies that will facilitate this work, such as litter pickers, gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, clippers/loppers, water, snack, long pants and long sleeve shirt for protection against poison ivy, etc. NO chainsaws are permitted.
Volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application. Please visit https://www.nj.gov/dep/parksandforests/getinvolved/volunteers.html and print the form, complete, and bring it with you to the clean-up event.
