Sampler Camp 2017 - Session 1

Sampler Camp 2017 - Session 1
Each summer, the Mississippi Craft Center hosts multiple sessions of Creative Craft Camp to introduce children to the joy of making things with their hands. Expert members of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi immerse your child into a fun, creative, and hands-on experience, teaching them the techniques and history of their craft through creating one-of-a-kind pieces of art to take home and cherish for years to come.

Ages 5-9: Sampler Camps
Being young is all about exploration. At this age, children are exploring their interests in the clothes they wear, the foods they eat, and the shows they watch on TV.  As any parent can tell you, one day their child may be on their way to becoming an astronaut and the next day a painter.

With our Sampler Camps, your child is free to explore his or her artistic side with the help of some of the Guild's fine craftsmen. Campers spend five days creating wonderful crafts spanning our vast array of mediums all under the instruction of a specialized craftsman, diving into different mediums each day.

On the final day of camp, we give your child the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the star of their very own art...  More >>
