Our Mix and Mingle events are a relaxing way to end your day, meet new people and enhance your business and personal relationships! It is great opportunity to catch up on what is happening with fellow chamber members while learning more about the area businesses, all in a relaxed and informal atmosphere at Saratoga Lanes (2725 Sutton Blvd).

The event is free but advanced RSVP is required. Deadline to RSVP is Wednesday, April 1. This is a members only event.

Our Second Quarter Membership Luncheon will feature a presentation by Author Fred Miller, "No Sweat Public Speaking". Many people find climbing the career ladder, or succeeding in one’s own business, usually means doing some speaking in front of groups. It’s a credibility builder. However, because of the fear of public speaking, it’s an activity many dread. It consistently ranks as one of the most common fears people share and holds many back from reaching their potential - personally and professionally. If you have this fear, or just want to be a better presenter, you won’t want to miss this presentation!

Optimize your time by taking part in the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce's first ever speed networking event. Tickets are $7 and include networking, cocktails and light appetizers.

Space is limited to 20. Only one representative per business may register. Registration deadline is April 24th.

In its 7th year now, The Taste of Maplewood Street Festival brings together foodies, shoppers and music lovers to enjoy the bites, sights and sounds of a city known for everything hip and happening!

Everyone's gotta eat! Why not eat together? Net-Lunch events are simple, informal gatherings that give Chamber Members an opportunity to meet and network. 

Menu choices for this Net-Lunch include:

Tacos de Pescado, Baja, Mexico $8.95 Two soft flour tortillas filled with fried or grilled tilapia, guacamole and mixed greens tossed in a citrus vinaigrette; served with maya rice and frijoles negros.

Enchiladas, Mexico, $6.95 One corn tortillas filled with chipotle studded cream cheese, Chihuahua cheese, and onions; topped with a pureé of ancho, pasilla, guajilla and cashew; baked and served with maya rice, frijoles negros, lettuce, and tomato. Add Roasted Chicken or Beef Brisket, $8.95

Quesadilla de Flor de Calabaza, Mexico, $7.95 A griddled flour tortilla stuffed with Chihuahua cheese, zucchini squash blossoms, baby spinach and chopped cilantro; served with maya rice and frijoles negros. Add Roasted Chicken $8.95

Trio Taco, Broad Latin Roots, $9.95 Three street tacos, one chicken, one beef, one chorizo, served on soft corn tortillas, topped with cilantro, onion, and garnished with lime wedges. Or pick your favorite combination.

There will be networking and a short presentation about making the most of your membership and opportunities for involvement. New members will have a chance to introduce themselves with a 30 second "commercial" about their business.
