Join us for an inspirational message to celebrate our Non Profit Network featuring Coleman Yoakum, Executive Director, Micah 6 Community and Owner of Sprout Fresh Food Store.

Coleman grew up in Central Arkansas where he studied Social Work at Harding University. In 2011 he moved to Detroit to learn how to make a difference in a struggling neighborhood. In August of 2012, Coleman and a number of friends bought a house in Pontiac, Michigan where he founded Micah 6 Community. Today, Micah 6 Community grows thousands of pounds of food on 1.5 acres of community gardens, including 6000 square foot of greenhouse space. They provide tutoring programs after school for local children and are in the process of renovating Webster Elementary School to turn it into a community center, opening in 2022.
