Birmingham, MI, November 10, 2019– Travel back to the ancient city of Bethlehem! On Friday, December 6, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. Birmingham First invites you to experience the bustling village of Bethlehem. Children will be provided with denaria to “spend” at the marketplace. They can shop for a headpiece at the clothier, combine spices at the spice shop, and learn how to make rope. They can weave fibers, stamp papyrus scrolls, knead bread dough, punch tin and make clay pinch pots.

The census taker, roaming villagers, story tellers and market vendors along with live animals (donkey, alpaca, goats, sheep and rabbits) all make this an exciting, interactive experience for families this Christmas season.
