You can help MAC deck the hall for its upcoming
Festival of Wreaths, and help home-bound seniors at the same time.
Entries in MAC’s second annual wreath competition will be accepted between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1; Monday, Nov. 4; and Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the main reception desk at MAC.
Cash prizes will be awarded to first-place winners in
each of five categories:

= Nature’s Bounty – Wreaths featuring natural materials= Creative Recycling – Using recycled items or re-purposed materials
= Home Sweet Home – Traditional style wreaths using traditional decorations
= Artisan’s Flair – Wreaths created in a non-traditional style

= Children’s Creations – Any style holiday wreath created by children ages 14 and underIn addition, a Best in Show winner will be chosen.
Wreaths will be judged
based on eye appeal, technicality and creativity.
The public is welcome to stop by MAC to view the wreath entries, which will be
on display in the main hallway weekdays, Nov. 6-27, during regular business
hours (Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
Wreaths entered in the
contest become the property of MAC and will be sold at silent auction; bidding
will be open Monday, Dec. 2, through noon on Thursday, Dec. 5.
The public is invited to
a reception on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at MAC, when the category
and silent auction winners are announced.
