Family Fun Fair & Flea Market

This event will begin at 7 AM with an indoor yard sale and breakfast cafe´, including homemade baked goods. The fun continues with outdoor activities for children and the entire family including storytime and face painting for children, games for all ages, vendors for more shopping, and a lunch grill featuring hamburgers and hot dogs.

Another highlight will be an Animal Presentation by ZOO- 2-U from the Salisbury Zoo, which includes a bird, mammal, amphibian, and reptile.

1st Annual Unity Run 5K

1st Annual Unity Run 5K
Come join your local Habitat for Humanity organization for our first running of the Unity Run 5k. This race will start and end from Salisbury Middle School in Salisbury, MD and will be a road run through 3.1 miles of our surrounding roads. 

Registration includes a t-shirt, bib, food vouchers, and other goodies from our local sponsors. 

We will have local concessions and vendors on site while the race is happening and there will be kids activities all morning. 

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup is 7:30-8:30am and the race starts at 9:00am!

 A Paint Night will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13, at MAC, Inc., the Area Agency on Aging. Participants will paint a beach scene. The cost is $35, which includes instruction and all supplies needed to create a finished painting, and snacks. All proceeds will benefit MAC.  Medicare-eligible State of Maryland retirees will no longer receive prescription drug coverage under the Maryland State health plan, effective Jan. 1, 2019. These Medicare-eligible State of Maryland retirees have until Dec. 31, 2018, to enroll in a Medicare Part D plan for prescription drugs, at their cost, to ensure there is no gap in their coverage.
Choosing a new prescription drug plan and navigating the Medicare maze can be confusing. MAC, Inc., is ready to help. MAC will offer a how-to program for do-it-yourselfers who would like to handle their Medicare enrollment themselves online. The program will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, at MAC, Inc., in Salisbury.  Space is limited and registration is required. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on July 16. To register, or for more information, call 410-742-0505, ext. 113. This is a free service. Enrollment training is also offered in Snow Hill, Westover and Ocean Pines.

Delmarva Public Radio's Downtown Clean-Up

Delmarva Public Radio invites the Delmarva community to “Clean Up” Downtown Salisbury on August 25th from 8 a.m. to noon. You can help DPR beautify our community in preparation for the National Folk Festival! Participants will meet at Riverwalk Park at the corner of West Market Street and Division Street in Downtown Salisbury. The clean-up will run until approximately 11:30 a.m. Following the clean-up, participants are invited to enjoy some free sandwiches and light appetizers at Roadie Joe's.
