The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host its first annual "Spring Soiree" sponsored by Shore Distributors, March 29 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art. The event will be a festive gathering featuring the talents of the Career Technology Education and Wicomico County students. Educational program demonstrations included will be Horticulture, Culinary Arts, the Teacher Academy of Maryland, Collision Repair, Business, Management, Finance Skills U.S.A, CTE Administration, Special Education Support, Counseling, Cosmetology, Welding, H.V.A.C., Nursing Assistance, and Computer Repair. The Culinary Arts students will provide a menu to include Maryland style crab dip, cold spiced steamed shrimp cocktail, sliced French bread points, mini jerk chicken Caesar salads, roasted and raw vegetable crudités with assorted dips, international cheeses and fruit display, roasted top round of beef—hand with various condiments, assorted hand twisted rolls and biscuits, cheese tortellini alfredo and bow tie pasta marinara, a pastry table, and a fruited punch fountain.
