Community Calendar

The Personal Wellness Center will launch its Lotus Yoga Studio on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. with a celebration of African and Latin Dance. The event is a collaboration between The Personal Wellness Center and A Masters Peace AMP! African Dance. 

$12 for a single ticket or $20 for two tickets. This event is open to the public, however space is limited. For more information or to reserve a ticket, please call 410-742-6016. 

Join us at Winter Place Park for a fun day of Bubble Ball Soccer, delicious food provided by Vittles Food Truck & Catering, kids’ activities , live entertainment and adult beverages. “What is Bubble Ball Soccer?” you ask.  Bubble Ball Soccer is a hybrid of bumper cars, sumo wrestling and ridiculousness!  It is a hilarious, entertaining game for ALL skill levels and great to watch and laugh from the sidelines as well. Teens and young adults, age 16-24 only, find your summer job or post-graduation employment. Potential employers will be on-site to hand out applications and some may conduct interviews same-day. Junior Achievement staff and volunteers will be present to assist with applications and give job-readiness advice.

• Event will be held outdoors at St. Francis De Sales
• $10 to sell and free to shop. Business vendors may participate as well, $20/space.
• Set-up begins at 5:30 AM and must provide own table.  Tents are not allowed, no electric and there will not be a rain date.

Creative Twist Drop-In Art Sessions is being facilitated by local artist, Linda Steere.  Held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month at Salisbury Art Space you will have the chance to come and socialize with fellow artists.  There is a small fee of $7 cash or check due at each session.  No pre-registration is necessary.  Bring your own supplies and the current art project you are creating. Table easels are available, but a limited  number of floor easels. The classroom will be closed June 16-July 7 to accomodate childrens's summer art workshops.

Registration begins at 5:30pm 

Doctors presentation at 6pm:  Our board-certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Perrotta and Dr. Pellegrino will discuss their techniques on facial rejuvenation, skin care, body contouring, and breast augmentation including before and after photos.

Art Educators who teach at Salisbury Art Space will be showing their art work in the gallery April 7 - April 26.

Come and meet our talented educators at the opening reception, third Friday, April 20th from 5 pm - 8 pm. We will be announcing our Summer Workshops for Kids at the reception.

Light refreshments will be served.

The Ward Foundation celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2018.  Established in 1968 to honor the legacy of Lem and Steve Ward, the foundation has grown to be a leader in the arts and cultural community of Maryland and beyond.  This Welcome gallery exhibit will showcase on the history of the foundation, its leaders and its impact in the community and beyond.
