YEA! Investor Panel

The Investor Panel is the student's time to shine in YEA!'s signature Shark Tank-like event. Each student business will get on the stage with a microphone in hand and their presentation behind them, and have just a few minutes to prove their concept to a panel of investors. Students will receive start-up funding from the investors to launch their business. Once all the students have presented, the investors will then choose the business that will move on as the Saunders Semi-Finalist, advancing to compete at YEA!'s Saunders Scholars Regional Competition, and possibly advance to the Saunders Scholars Finals in June!

7th Annual Ability Awareness Day Spring Spruce Up

On Saturday, April 2, over 100 volunteers are expected to join together at the 7th annual Eastern Shore Business Leadership Network (ESBLN)/Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Ability Awareness Day Spring Spruce Up at the Salisbury Zoo.
The event raises awareness that people with disabilities can and want to work and give back to their community. Sponsoring companies, local disability-related agencies, students, and docents and staff of the zoo work on teams to mulch, plant, clear brush, and move truckloads of debris to get ready for Earth Day.  The creation of the wood duck overlook was a permanent result of this event.
