What do employers need to know when recruiting, retaining and accommodating workers who are blind or have low vision? This is particularly of interest with an aging workforce.  Join us as we hear from The Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind, a D.C. Business Leadership Network member, to learn the following:

·         What are some barriers to employing and retaining workers and what can employers do to remove or reduce these barriers?
·         What types of technology exists to make our worker productive?
·         Myths and Fears and Disability Etiquette and Language

The Presenter: W. Brandon Cox is the Senior Director of Rehabilitation and Education Services and a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist with the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind in Washington DC.
