Join us at Old Colony YMCA Plymouth Branch, 2 Greenside Way South (GPS use 237 Wareham Road), Plymouth, for Our Summer Sizzle Pop Up Class Series! On Friday, July 27th, at 8:30a-9:30a, we are hosting Yin Yoga with Alyson for 60-minutes of fun for Adults! Free to YMCA Members and $10 per Adult for Non-Members. Find balance in your practice and peace in your body through yin. Poses will be held longer, targeting connective tissues and allowing for a deeper release and sense of calm. We encourage our new Chamber Members to attend one of our quarterly New Member Orientation meetings. The New Member Orientation is a great way to start you Chamber connection!

This is your opportunity to meet the Chamber staff, introduce your business, and familiarize yourself with the variety of benefits we offer and get connected! At each orientation, Chamber staff gives an informal presentation covering all you need to know to start making your Chamber membership work for you.

Also in attendance at the meeting are the Chamber Ambassadors. The Ambassadors are there to help you. They can answer any question or provide guidance.

6TH ANNUAL USA BEAT THE HEAT 5K

 Proceeds from the 2018 race will benefit the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association of New England 

What is Prader-Willi syndrome?
PWS  is a complex genetic disorder affecting appetite, growth, metabolism,  cognitive function and behavior.  It is typically characterized by low  muscle tone, short stature (when not treated with growth hormone),  incomplete sexual development, cognitive disabilities, behavioral  problems, and the hallmark characteristics – chronic feelings of  insatiable hunger and a slowed metabolism that can lead to excessive  eating and life-threatening obesity. Those who have PWS need  intervention and strict external controls, sometimes including  padlocking access to food, to maintain normal weight and to help save  their lives.

On Tuesday, August 14th, 9:30am-10:30am, we are hosting POP Pilates with Mac for 60-minutes of fun for Adults. Free to YMCA Members and $10 per Adult for Non-Members. POP Pilates is an incredible fusion of chieseling and total body defining moves choreographed to upbeat pop songs. This intense, mat based work out challenges students to rhythmically flow from one movement to the next, developing a rock solid core while leaving no muscle untouched. This format takes classic Pilates to the next level like you never seen before and feels like a dance on the mat! This is an Adult Class.
