Club Caliente and Hip Hop Barre at Old Colony YMCA Plymouth

Join us at Old Colony YMCA Plymouth Branch, 2 Greenside Way South (GPS use 237 Wareham Road), Plymouth, for our Summer Sizzle Pop Up Class Series! On Wednesday, July 25th, at 5:30p-7:00p, we are hosting Club Caliente and Hip Hop Barre with Wendy for 90 minutes of fun maship class (and shaking) for Adults! Free to YMCA Members and $10 per Adult for Non-Members.  This class is 60-minutes of cardio with Club Caliente style plus 30-minutes of Barre Inspired Strength training.  This class is for Adults.  For more information contact the Welcome Center at 508-927-3100.

Pilgrim Hall Steinway Library Ribbon Cutting
Newly restored Steinway Library reopens at Pilgrim Hall Museum!

Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Reception

We're cutting the Ribbon to open the doors of history at teh 1905 Steinway Memorial Library, now restored to its original glory, at Pilgrim Hall Museum. Members of the public are welcome!

Savor light refreshments and gran surrounds, with vaulted Guastavino ceiling, terrazzo-and-tile flooring, and orginal steel bookcases, chock full of rare volumes dating to Pilgrim times.

Restoration funded by the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund, through the Massachusetts Historical Commission, Secretary of the Commonwealth, William Francis Galvin, Chairman, and the Town of Plymouth Community Preservation Fund.

Old Colony YMCA presents B-Fit Family Fun


Old Colony YMCA Plymouth Branch presents B-Fit Free Family Fun on Thursdays at the Plimoth Plantation Farmer's Market. Join Bridget on July 26th from 4:00-4:30pm.  Open to all ages, B-Fit is a fun family friendly group workout that will get kids, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins moving. This class uses sports conditioning moves and games to improve cardiovascular endurance, agility and muscular strength.  Some come on down to the Farmer's Market at Plimoth Plantation and join the Plymouth YMCA for Free Family Fun!

At each orientation, Chamber staff gives an informal presentation covering all you need to know to start making your Chamber membership work for you.

Also in attendance at the meeting are the Chamber Ambassadors. The Ambassadors are there to help you. They can answer any question or provide guidance.

6TH ANNUAL USA BEAT THE HEAT 5K

 Proceeds from the 2018 race will benefit the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association of New England 

What is Prader-Willi syndrome?
PWS  is a complex genetic disorder affecting appetite, growth, metabolism,  cognitive function and behavior.  It is typically characterized by low  muscle tone, short stature (when not treated with growth hormone),  incomplete sexual development, cognitive disabilities, behavioral  problems, and the hallmark characteristics – chronic feelings of  insatiable hunger and a slowed metabolism that can lead to excessive  eating and life-threatening obesity. Those who have PWS need  intervention and strict external controls, sometimes including  padlocking access to food, to maintain normal weight and to help save  their lives.

POP Pilates Summer Sizzle Pop Up Class at Plymouth YMCA


Join us at Old Colony YMCA Plymouth Branch, 2 Greenside Way South (GPS use 237 Wareham Road), Plymouth, for Our Summer Sizzle Pop Up Class Series! On Tuesday, August 14th, 9:30am-10:30am, we are hosting POP Pilates with Mac for 60-minutes of fun for Adults. Free to YMCA Members and $10 per Adult for Non-Members. POP Pilates is an incredible fusion of chieseling and total body defining moves choreographed to upbeat pop songs. This intense, mat based work out challenges students to rhythmically flow from one movement to the next, developing a rock solid core while leaving no muscle untouched. This format takes classic Pilates to the next level like you never seen before and feels like a dance on the mat! This is an Adult Class.
