Start Your Business Bootcamp
Starting a busines is hard, so you may want to consider attending the SCORE Business Startup BootCamp. The SCORE Business Startup Bootcamp provides an overview of what you need to consider when you are planning to start a new business. It is designed to help you go from business concept to "opening the doors".
The Morning Session is a 3 hour interactive presentation, given by experienced SCORE counselors in each of the areas discussed. This session will give you a clearer understanding of what is necessary to run a business.
Key Topics include:
-Entrepreneurship: is it for you?
-Is your business concept reasonable?
-What is a business plan? How to decide if you need one? And key items to include.
-Building your financial plan and options for financing your business
-Key questions about finding customers - how you'll market your business to get sales
-What business structure should you select?
-What advisors do you need?
-Other resources available to you.
The Afternoon Sessions are small roundtable discussions led by SCORE counselors, in which you can talk about the issues you are facing and get ideas how to solve them

Whether they have loans from their own schooling or have incurred parent loan debt from their child’s college, borrowers can find that the student loan programs confusing and at times overwhelming.
Which payment plan should I choose?
Is consolidation a good idea?
How do I get out of default?
What if I can’t afford the payments?
Am I eligible for forgiveness?
These are just a few of the questions student loan advisors get asked on a daily basis. This session will answer these common questions and spend some time discussing the political landscape and future of the student loan programs.

This will be an open forum session so bring your own questions!

Newly restored Steinway Library reopens at Pilgrim Hall Museum!

Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Reception

We're cutting the Ribbon to open the doors of history at teh 1905 Steinway Memorial Library, now restored to its original glory, at Pilgrim Hall Museum. Members of the public are welcome!

Savor light refreshments and gran surrounds, with vaulted Guastavino ceiling, terrazzo-and-tile flooring, and orginal steel bookcases, chock full of rare volumes dating to Pilgrim times.

Restoration funded by the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund, through the Massachusetts Historical Commission, Secretary of the Commonwealth, William Francis Galvin, Chairman, and the Town of Plymouth Community Preservation Fund.

This is your opportunity to meet the Chamber staff, introduce your business, and familiarize yourself with the variety of benefits we offer and get connected! At each orientation, Chamber staff gives an informal presentation covering all you need to know to start making your Chamber membership work for you.

Also in attendance at the meeting are the Chamber Ambassadors. The Ambassadors are there to help you. They can answer any question or provide guidance.
