13th Annual Art on the Green at The Pinehills

Celebrate the Work of the Best Local and Regional Artists including Photographers, Potters, Jewelry Makers and Others.

 

Plymouth, MA – The 13th Annual Art on the Green will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 and features the work of local and regional artists. Art on the Green showcases handmade arts and crafts on display and for sale by area makers. Enjoy live steel drum music, face painting, balloon artists along with many food options.

World War II Expo

World War II Expo
Kingston Collection and Pyramid Management Group are proud to present a World War II Expo that will take place during the upcoming Father’s Day Weekend.  The Expo will take place June 17th and 18th in Center Court at Kingston Collection in Kingston, Massachusetts.   The Expo is free to all and will offer an engaging educational experience of World War II.  Reenactors of both Allied and Axis forces will be on hand to discuss their World War II era uniforms, equipment and artifacts.  This two day World War II Expo will feature a glimpse into the most destructive war in human history.

The US Army Paratroopers will be taking over the space near center court at Kingston Collection with tactical weapons on display featuring: M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Thompson M1A1, Springfield M1903, K98, MP40, M1911A1 pistol and Luger. A small field office will be set up and will be inspected by “General Eisenhower“ at 3:00 and will be available to meet the public, take photos or to sign autographs.

Doors will be open for the free event on Saturday, June 17 from 10AM – 9PM and on Sunday, June 18 from 10AM – 6PM. Bring the whole family and enjoy military discounts at Yogibo, Spencer’s, Medieval Starship, Escape the Mystery Room, Fan Zone, Clarks Outlet, Bar Rustic and more!

This Expo will feature reenactors of both Allied and Axis forces.  The Axis Forces reenactors will display period specific symbolism and memorabilia; neither reflects the views or opinions of Kingston Collection or Pyramid Management Group

Atlantic Link Project Informational Forum
In August 2016, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts enacted H.4568, An Act to Promote Energy Diversity, which authorized the procurement of approximately 1,200 MW annually of hydropower and on-shore wind.
To meet this need, Emera Energy is proposing to build the Atlantic Link Project -- a proposed high voltage direct current (HVdc) transmission line that will deliver 900 megawatts (MW) of clean energy from Atlantic Canada directly to Massachusetts, through a landing spot in Plymouth.

What does it take to be a marine animal care technician? What are some of the questions and “mysteries” involved in wildlife rehabilitation?
