Cape Cod Community College has opened enrollment into its first Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) Program classes that will prepare students for certification as Airframe and Power plant Technicians (A&P), highly sought after skilled personnel in the aviation industry today. The College's program will be one of only five accelerated training curriculums in the country!  Tours will be provided by the CCCC staff.

We are excited to share an opportunity for Massachusetts businesses to engage in Working on Wellness, a comprehensive statewide worksite wellness initiative. Working on Wellness provides a financial support to offset the cost of launching a wellness program, while also offering expert training, technical assistance and an on-line learning community that allows you to collaborate with similar businesses.

How the Working on Wellness Program Works:
-Seed Funding. Up to $10,000 to start or boost a wellness initiative.
-Technical Assistance. A Worksite Wellness Advisor who provides guidance and support in a group setting.
-Training. An online training that reflects the elements of the Worksite Wellness Development Cycle
-Online Support Resources. Access to articles, newsletters, tools, case studies, and other resources through an online portal.
-Best Practices Forum. Opportunity to attend an annual event to share best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.

In November 2016, Massachusetts voters will have the opportunity to vote on a ballot initiative put forth by the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol that would legalize the use of marijuana and make it available on a commercial basis through retail outlets.   As the Government Affairs & Economic Development Committee for the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce we invite you to a discussion with Senator Vinny deMacedo and Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz on this important ballot question.  This informational forum will discuss the ballot initiative and it's effect on the local businesses, community & the economy.

Join Us at Mayflower II  for the Chamber Business After Hours!  Mix and Mingle on the replica ship grounds  that carried The Pilgrims to the New World !

Mayflower II is a square-rigged vessel that is about 25 feet wide and 106 feet long, displacing 236 tons of water. She has four masts, including a mainmast, foremast, mizzen and sprit, with a total of six sails. You may walk around the main deck, orlop deck, and half deck.
