Dottie was a gifted quilt designer, lecturer and past president of the New England Quilter's Guild. She owned and operated "Sew Crazy" in Plymouth, Massachusetts for 28-years. She gathered her collection of heritage quilts along the road as she traveled the country, lecturing and promoting her own line of patterns, "Praise Publications."

Join us for our Sunday School Wine Seminar exploring Old World vs. New World California wines with Alden Park Restaurant. If you have ever thought about how some wines maybe the same vareital and come from the same area but taste very different? Well if you would like to find out then join us as we explore different wine making styles with Len Presutti.

Our Sunday School classes begin in February and sell out quickly! Now in our 13th year, we continue to receive early requests and reservations for our growing seminar program. The best testament to our fun and informative wine classes is the fact that we sell out quickly, and our customers are eager to return every year. Our classes offer a variety of themes (regions, vineyards, varietals), and provide first-rate, wine knowledgeable speakers as well as amazing tasting menus from local restaurants. All classes are held at Pioppi’s Package Store from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. includes a fabulous tasting menu paired with a sampling of wines.

Redbrook Easter Egg Hunt

Look who’s making a stop at Redbrook this year! The Easter Bunny will be visiting Redbrook and invites you to the take part in the Egg Hunt on the Village Green. Colored Easter eggs will be hidden by the Easter Bunny for children ages 2-8. Bring your basket to collect as many eggs as you can and watch for special eggs! Colored eggs are assigned to each age group and here are plenty to go around. All participants will receive a goodie bag from the Easter Bunny after the egg hunt! Photographs of your kids with the Easter Bunny may be taken between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. as well as following the hunt. Advance registration highly recommended.Tickets are $3 in advance or $5 at event.

The Essentials of Effective Public Speaking Seminar Series

Do you want to become a better speaker in a fun and supportive environment? Then we have the class for you! Whether you are a reluctant speaker who fears your 60-second presentations at networking events or an experienced speaker who wants to become even better, you will benefit from attending this 6-week class. In The Essentials of Effective Public Speaking, you will not only learn the basic skills needed to deliver effective presentations, but you will have plenty of opportunities to practice these skills. Don't worry - it is fun (not scary)! This class will cover a variety of topics, including organizing your presentation, using gestures, developing your vocal variety (rate, pitch, and pauses), and speaking "off the cuff".

The Essentials of Public Speaking class uses the format of a Toastmasters meeting. Toastmasters is an international public speaking and leadership organization, dedicated to helping members gain confidence and experience personal growth.
